Trying out Cricut for cards

Daisy Jackson / 18/10/2022

Due to having problems regarding material for mass producing T-shirts (which I will rectify), I decided to try out the transfer paper and try and transfer a design of mine onto paper. This is the process I will be doing whne creating cards and prints!

Here is my process:

This was my design cut by the Cricut machine onto the vinyl.

I the used transfer tape for the vinyl to stick onto. The tutorial I watched told me to press the transfer tape onto my clothes a few times before applying to the vinyl as this reduces how sticky it is.

This is the vinyl design stuck onto the trasnfer tape. I flattened this with one of the utensils provided in the essentials kit so the design stuck fully onto the tape.

I peeled the vinyl off it's original backing and onto the transfer tape.

This is my finished design printed onto paper! I am so happy with the result of this as it looks professional and can be mass produced. I also love the texture of this and think it will look great laminated for prints. I cannot wait to try this once I have a Warhorse design!
